Cam locks are one of the most widely used locks ever manufactured. Cam locks can be seen across many products and many industries and because of their design they are easy to modify to fit a particular product.
Locking Systems International is a premier designer and manufacturer of many different types and styles of cam locks. Under the Cobra Lock brand we have designed patented cam locks that have taken the industry by storm. Our Cobra7 line of cam locks provide a unique lock front and key to match, this design has been awarded a US patent. We also manufacturer standard tubular cam locks and utility (or single bitted) cam locks.
Below you will find a photo and description of our cam locks. You can also download an information sheet on each cam lock.
Cobra 7 Cam Locks
The Cobra 7 cam lock has a unique 7-side lock front and matching 7-sided key, this creates a unique “keyway”. There are many thousands of key combinations that can be used which increases the security over traditional tubular cam locks. We have also added an “anti-drill” dimple to the front of the lock to provide drill resistance. Protected by a U.S. Patent
CobraMatic 7 Cam Locks
Our CobraMatic 7 Cam Lock has the added feature of 8 code changes in one lock. This means that end users can change the key code by simply inserting a change key and turning it to a new code number. The CobraMatic 7 Cam Lock shares all the patent protection and security features as our Cobra 7. Protected by a U.S. Patent
Utility Cam Locks
Our Utility or Single Bitted Cam Locks are designed using the industry standard keyway. This allows users of this cam lock to be able to use our keys with those of other manufacturers. This enables the end user to buy a superior cam lock without losing their investment in their current cam lock.
Cobra Standard Cam Locks
The Cobra Standard Cam Lock shares the same “Anti-Drill” dimple as our Cobra 7 Cam Locks and is built with our improved spindle. We built the Cobra Standard Cam Lock so that users of other cam locks can experience the superior performance of the Cobra Cam Locks. The end user will be able to use the current keys to operate the Cobra Cam Lock. To make this happen we will need a sample key and we will build your new Cobra Cam Locks to operate with that sample key.
