The Cobra Lock line of Padlocks represents years of design and development. We not only made improvements on standard padlocks, we innovated and designed some very unique padlocks that won a U.S Patent and another that has a patent pending. The uniqueness of our design lies in the way we utilize “Off the Shelf” lock cylinders to allow the end user to choose the level of security they desire. To accomplish this we had to design a padlock body capable of accepting the locks cylinders of different manufacturers.
Universal “PUCK” Padlock®
Our Cobra Universal PUCK Padlock® was designed to accept standard “Vending Lock” cylinders such as the Cobra 7, Medeco and Abloy lock cylinders to name a few. FLEX Padlock®
Our Cobra FLEX Padlock® again shows the design capability at Locking Systems International. This padlock is designed to accept standard 7/8″ cam locks such as the Cobra 7, CobraMatic 7, Medeco, Abloy and other manufacturers standard 7/8″ cam lock cylinders. As with our Universal PUCK Padlock the lock cylinders are user changeable. As the user changes the lock cylinder the security level of the lock also changes. Cobra 8200 Series Padlocks
The Cobra 8200 Series padlocks are an improvement of the standard type of padlocks of this design. We construct our 8200 Series using “Solid Steel” and hardened steel shackles. Our 8200 has a shackle with a one inch clearance and our 8220 has a shackle clearance of 2 inches. We use a standard lock cylinder so that we are able to “Key Into” padlocks made by other companies, this gives our customers the advantage of using an improved padlock with their current keys.

Cobra 8100 Series Padlocks
The Cobra 8100 Series Padlocks are constructed of hardened steel and use a hardened steel shackle. Just like our 8200 Series Padlocks we built these padlocks using an improved design over the standard padlocks. The 8200 has a shackle clearance of one inch and the 8120 has a clearance of two inches. The 8100 Series padlocks also use the standard key cylinders so that our customers can use our improved padlock design and still use their current keys.

Cobra Brass Padlocks
The Cobra Brass Padlock is constructed of solid brass and comes with a stainless steel shackle. We designed this padlock to perform very well in applications where moisture is a problem. The padlock is designed with a standard lock cylinder and can be keyed alike or keyed different.
